CENTURY is a general biogeochemical model of plant-soil nutrient cycling, originally developed by Parton et al. (1987). CENTURY has been used to simulate carbon and nutrient dynamics for different types of ecosystems, including grasslands, agricultural lands, forests and savannas. The primary purposes of the model are to provide a tool for ecosystem analysis, to test the consistency of data and to evaluate the effects of changes in management and climate on ecosystems. You can download CENTURY Version 4.7 and you can learn more about the model and latest changes here. This version of the model is no longer under active development and we cannot provide model support.
